We love the Rose and Brown vintage fair in Saltaire and we’re looking forward to a two day spectacular at the Victoria Hall this weekend (May 24 -25). The stalls are packed with everything from clothes and costume jewellery to homeware, and then there’s the delicious tea and cakes and the music, which spans the 1920s to the 1960s.
We often take a stall ourselves as we love “playing shop”, but we also enjoy going along to browse and buy. Vintage fair regulars will tell you that prices at these events are exceptionally keen and there are lots of bargains to be had.
There really is something for everyone and for all ages, whether it’s a new frock, retro ceramics or just a trip down memory lane.
Tickets are £3 on the door (£2 concessions) and under 16’s get in for free, www.roseandbrownvintage.co.uk
