THIS WEEK: Vintage Weekend at Lotherton with Rose & Brown Vintage, Sat, Aug 17 and Sun, Aug 18, off Collier Lane, Aberford, Leeds LS25 3EB. Up to 25 true vintage stalls throughout the grounds and live music from The Pretend Beatles Open 11am-4pm each day. Admission is the usual Lotherton entry price, which includes entry to the house, exhibitions, grounds, Wildlife World and the event. Fully dog friendly and free parking. www.
NEXT WEEK: The Luna Cinema, outdoor film screenings at Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire: Wed, Aug 21, Bohemian Rhapsody; Thurs, Aug 22, Mary Poppins Returns. Both screenings start at 8.15pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm. The Luna Bar will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including Estrella beer, prosecco, wines, spirits and soft drinks. COMING UP: Freedom Festival 2019, Aug 28-Sept 1, Hull. Artists from across the world supply circus street theatre, performances and talks, music and for all ages.
